Custom Boundary Fence on Mount Sequoyah
This custom boundary fence was built for a wooded property on Mount Sequoyah in Fayetteville. The homeowner wanted to establish a clear, visible boundary along the edge of a drop-off while preserving the open character of the surrounding landscape.
The approximately 22-foot fence was constructed from pressure-treated pine at a height of 32 inches. Rather than using a conventional picket arrangement, the fence incorporates a varying vertical pattern inspired by the siding on the property’s existing carport. This allows the new installation to relate visually to the home while serving its intended purpose as a low-profile boundary.
The completed fence makes the change in elevation more visually apparent without introducing a full-height privacy barrier. Its scale, material, and pattern were selected specifically for this Mount Sequoyah property rather than adapted from a standard prefabricated fence design.
