Custom Deck Skirting in Fayetteville, AR

This custom deck-skirt installation on Mount Sequoyah enclosed approximately 70 linear feet beneath an existing deck. The homeowner wanted to conceal stored items and the unfinished terrain below the deck while giving the structure a more intentional, finished appearance.

CraftBuilt installed pine decking boards around the lower portion of the deck. Because the property sits on hilly terrain, the distance between the deck and the ground varied from approximately two to four feet. The skirting layout therefore had to accommodate changing slopes and heights along the deck line instead of relying on uniformly sized sections.

Two access gates were incorporated into the skirting so the homeowner could continue using the area beneath the deck for storage and maintenance. The completed installation provides visual screening without eliminating practical access to the enclosed space.
